We believe that the humanities help people broaden their perspectives, become more active participants in their communities, and find deeper meaning in everyday occurrences. Founded in 1973, we are a non-profit organization and public foundation affiliated with the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). We are supported by the NEH, the state of Washington and contributions from individuals and foundations
