Humanities Washington Board of Trustees

Humanities Washington is governed by a board of trustees who represent the many key constituencies crucial to our work - museums, heritage organizations, universities, scholarly organizations, professional groups, schools, foundations and corporations.  One in six trustees are appointed by the Governor and the remainder elected from nominations submitted by partners and the general public.  Members are drawn from across Washington, and represent the racial, ethnic and cultural diversity of the state.  Trustees are elected for three-year renewable terms, serve on at least two board committees and generally have a history of engagement with Humanities Washington.  Nominations may be submitted to the Nominating Committee via executive director Julie Ziegler.
