Humanities Washington is Seeking Presenters
for Inquiring Mind Community Conversations
in 2008-2009!

First-time state funding through the Office of the Secretary of State will help us to double the number of Inquiring Mind presentations in Washington this year. Presentations on a wide range of subjects are now available at low cost to community organizations, libraries, museums and schools throughout the state. Proposed programs should involve the humanities as a means of exploring human attitudes and values, as well as historical and contemporary issues.

For the 2008-2009 season, Humanities Washington will pay special attention to topics relating to:

Our upcoming Smithsonian traveling exhibit Key Ingredients, America by Food
Women’s history and culture leading to the upcoming centennial of suffrage in Washington State
Interfaith dialogue
