All applicants for Humanities Washington Project Grants are required to submit a Letter of Intent to Apply by march 6, 2009. The information provided is for staff review only and will not be used in the final grant review. Humanities Washington staff will review the proposed project as described in the Letter of Intent for eligibility under Humanities Washington grant guidelines and appropriateness of requested grant amount. Humanities Washington staff will then contact you to discuss the project.
Please have to following information ready before you submit your Letter of Intent online:
Name of applicant organization.
Name, address, telephone number, and email of
contact person. (The contact person is the person who should be
contacted with any questions regarding the project and the grant
proposal.)
Application deadline at which final
proposal will be submitted.
Project title.
Project format.
Project dates.
Estimated Humanities Washington grant
request.
Estimated total project cost.
A brief description of the project, its humanities content, and which part of the project the Humanities Washington grant will support.
How to Submit the Letter of Intent to Apply
Organizations can now submit their Letter of Intent to Apply and their complete application for a Humanities Washington Project Grant online. As a new user you'll be asked to provide the name of the person completing the form (user) and the name of an organizational contact (generally the Executive Director or President of the Board). If this is the same person, please enter this information twice. Once you have created a user name and a password, select "Project Grantt" on the application page and follow the instructions. Please note that web applications do time out, so be sure to save often. You can start the application now, save your work and resume the application anytime.
