"On a snowy winter night I set out by foot to the Phinney Neighborhood Center to hear an Inquiring Mind lecture. I expected a tiny gathering...yet I noticed many people walking through the snow and I realized we were all going to the same place. There was a strong sense of community...people were obviously craving an opportunity to gather together, learn something new, and make connections between our past and contemporary issues."
