I believe so strongly in Humanities Washington because of the work they do to strengthen us as individuals and as a community of creative, critical thinkers. Through the humanities, we honor that which is most human and profound. It's never been more important than now, when our society seems to be losing its cohesive grip on what makes us a good, rational, and tolerant people.
