NEW TEMPLATE

We, as a society of peoples, need self-reflection as a form of finding ourselves. The humanities showcase our artistic and cultural richness, while creating understandings of our diverse heritage. As Washingtonians’ lives become more complex and society spends less time in reflection, we need to bring our diverse people together in harmony through exploration of the past, culture, race, and religion. There is no better way to experience life than through the humanities.

Volunteer

Ways to volunteer your time with Humanities Washington.

Humanities Washington's success depends on the time and generosity of many volunteers. From assisting with administrative tasks to serving on our board of trustees, our mission is advanced because of the tireless dedication of community members from across the state.

We seek volunteers with an interest in cultural education programs who can also offer experience in finance, law, legislative relations, literacy, early education or public humanities programming.

If you are interested in contributing your time and expertise to our organization (or know someone who is) please e-mail us at info@humanities.org!
