2019 LaureateFest: A Celebration of Washington State Poets Laureate

Event Description

Olympia Poetry Network presents a celebration of the Washington State Poet Laureates. All four past (Sam Green, Kathleen Flenniken, Elizabeth Austen and Tod Marshall) and the current Poet Laureate, Claudia Castro Luna, will engage in an afternoon panel discussion on all things poetic, and give individual readings in the evening. Admission is free (donations gratefully accepted). The public is invited and encouraged to attend.

Panel Discussion 1:00-3:00 pm

Readings 7:00-9:00 pm

Event is sponsored by Saint Martin’s University, Humanities Washington, ArtsWA, Panorama Retirement, and Denali Walden Massage.
