Sustaining a Legacy: African Dance in Community

Event Description

Join Afua Kouyaté and Nailah Bulley as they perform Passing It On ~, a West African Dance celebrating their time in the Center for Washington Cultural Traditions’ Heritage Arts Apprenticeship Program. The show will be followed by refreshments and a Q & A with the artists. This performance will end a full day of African Dance hosted by Oni Arts Collective.

The Center for Washington Cultural Traditions is Washington State’s folklife and traditional arts program, developed and run as a partnership between Humanities Washington and ArtsWA.
